| The encouragement of academical activities
is one of the goals of Fundación Wiener lab. In this
sense, since year 2000 the Scientific Committee – with
the approval of the Board of Directors- has been granting an
annual award to the best students graduated from the Schools
of Biochemistry of our country as a way to promote the example
of the best ones and constitute a factor for emulation in future
graduates.
This award consists of a Gold Medal and Diploma delivered
during the corresponding graduation ceremonies.
Nowadays, this award is also granted in the Schools of Biochemistry
and/or equivalent academic studies of those Latin American
countries that have been added to the activities our Institution.
